What is BALLINA BUG?

Ballina Bicycle Users Group (BUG) is a group of cyclists in Ballina Shire who actively advocate safe cycling in our community. Ballina BUG conducts social rides from Hogan Street, Ballina, on Saturday departing at 7.00 am and the first Sunday of the month. There are no  schedule rides on Public Holiday weekends - Click on the link Calendar to view the scheduled rides. 

Ballina BUG is affiliated with Bicycle NSW. Ballina BUG "highly recommend"  its members and cyclists become a members of Bicycle NSW. Their membership includes personal injury insurance and other benefits. Click on the link for more information  http://www.bicyclensw.org.au/ 

Ballina BUG welcomes and encourages new cyclists to experience our safe  and coordinated rides. Each ride is conducted by a qualified Ride Leader who is experienced and trained by BNSW. The first Saturday of the month is a "NO SWEAT RIDE". This ride caters for the beginner or those returning to cycling after a break. All cyclists are welcome on this ride. New  cyclists to the group are encouraged to join as members after 3 rides. Its is "highly recommended" that new members join BNSW. 

Ballina BUG membership is from 1 July to 30 June. If you join mid year the members fee is the same as a full year. You can download the membership form by clicking the link Membership Form.

Membership is $15.00 per year.
